you abominate the english language when you use the word abominate
it means to dislike strongly (hate). you can use it like : She abhors rats.
It means to loathe or detest, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen it actually used in a sentence. Weird…
The word “abominate” means to hate, detest, loathe.
